I'm sure when I 1st spoke to Alison & Ean on the phone they said they're not very photogenic, I'm sure they said that?!
But when I met them for their pre wedding shoot in the woods I was absolutely bowled over by how much in love they are!
That's definitely all that's needed in front of the camera!
It's infectious to be around a couple who giggle around each other so much!
A lesson for everybody; show the person that you love;......that you love them.....or at least just tell them every now and then!
Anyway back to the wedding.
Alison & Ean chose Smeetham Hall Barn in Sudbury for their beautiful wedding.
Smeetham Hall Barn is a 500 year old privately owned venue surrounded but the most amazing & photogenic buildings and scenery.
Seriously, if you're thinking about booking your wedding there, then do it!
Laura & I drove down to Sudbury that Sunday in July and had lovely meal out before heading to the venue to start the day with the ceremony.
For us it was both work for me and a little bit of a date day for us to spend some time together.
I think Laura's secretly jealous of me going to all these weddings, so she always likes to join me when she can.

Alison's hair & makeup was prepared by Jemma's Hair and Makeup.
Whilst Alison's dress was from Barn Bridal Boutique, Silver End, Essex.
So happy!
Once the confetti and the group photos were ticked off the list it was time for us to explore those amazing surroundings.
Smeetham Hall Barn has it all from huge houses to tree lined driveways.
The light shining in over the driveway was just glorious.
We stayed there for a while and just enjoyed the peace & quiet.
Then over to the fields, again what a beautiful place!
Alison's flowers were arranged by Kirsty's Little Flower Shop, Braintree, Essex.
And I just had to use the huge barn doors for a few photos!
This scene reminds me of Bassmead Manor Barns in St Neots. What a great place too!
Ean's suit was John Lewis.
And full circle back in front of the house.
Then it was time to say hello to everybody.
And then head inside for the wedding breakfast.
Damn I wish I got to taste this magnificent looking cake!

From their 1st date at the Star pub in Thaxted when Ean wore sandals and Alison wore heels it's been heading to this wedding day and long may their love continue!
