An intimate wedding and "I do" at the registry office in Spalding before we headed to Aycsoughfee Hall for the newlywed portraits.

I 1st met Christina & Alex 3 days before the wedding.

This was the 1st free date they could do and because I really like to meet the couple before the big day just to get to know them and find out how they feel about the big camera, 3 days before is definitely better than not at all.

We met at Ayscoughfee Hall in Spalding, Lincolnshire for their pre wedding shoot.

It's a beautiful outside space of gardens, paths and lovely old walls, I do love old walls!

Whilst walking and talking I suggested the idea of coming here after the wedding ceremony for the group photos and the newly wed portraits, the plan was set!

In between the pre wedding shoot and wedding day it snowed like mad with a little snow left on the ground making you need to watch your step but definitely adding something a little special to the photos and the story of their big day together.

The ceremony was held at the Spalding Registry Office;

I'd not photographed at the registry office since it had moved into the new building, It's a really bright room and I'd happily photograph there again.

Here comes Christina.

The snow in the background and that winter light has really help create something special.

It's the pose, the colours, I just really like it!

Every bride should have at least one photo by herself in her wedding dress.

The last photo of the day before we headed off in our own direction to get warm and to gain feeling back in our fingers and toes was this one. I held Christina's bouquet in front of my lens to create something special.
