Usually I carry something a little special in my camera bag; just for that moment when I want to create something different for and with my couples. Sometimes it's a film camera, sometimes it's an older digital camera of some variety and then sometimes it's a weird and/or old lens.
Jack & Caitlan's wedding was no different; in my bag I was carrying both an older camera and a weird lens! Maybe the perfect imperfect addition and experiment.
What was I carrying on the day? A 2013 Sony Nex 6 camera and a Lensbaby Composer lens from 2008.
All I can say, to keep it simple, is that the Lensbaby Composer gives a certain look; it's sharp in focus in parts and totally warped and soft in others. I actually think it's really cool! Used only occasionally I mean. Imagine a whole wedding photographed with this lens only!
In my other and proper blog about Jack & Caitlan's wedding;
"I blooming love The Hop Rooms in Wisbech! Such a hidden gem!
I'm always a happy Wisbech wedding photographer when I get to go to The Hop Rooms.
Jack & Caitlan; thank you so much for letting me be there with you all x"
Throughout their wedding day I pulled out my 'play camera' and took a shot.
Let me know what you think, do you want cool and different photos at your wedding?
