Mr & Mrs Duffy's wedding. A snowy day in Mildenhall & Newmarket.

What a cold day for for a Suffolk wedding photographer.

The Beast from the East was back but wow did it add just that little bit of 'something special' to the images .

The big day for me started and ended at The Riverside House Hotel in Mildenhall.

Becky and her gal's were getting ready in a large room with a lovely big window letting lots of winter light in.

Spirits were high and nerves weren't to be seen (or so I thought)

The staple diet for brides in the morning.

The moment the nerves showed.

The big reveal. Smiles and tears all around.

The wedding took place 10 minutes away at St Mary's Church in Newmarket.

A large, bright church right with lots of room for guests.

Photography rules are very relaxed, which is always a nice touch when I can go where I like.

!All churches pay attention please!

Just looking for some attention.........mission accomplished. Cute!

The confetti shot was memorable especially because someone threw a whole basket of confetti at the couple...............Blizzard!

The wedding party all ran to their cars, to escape the cold and made their way back to the hotel.

The Riverside House Hotel backs on to the river, it has a large garden area.

A great space for a party and a 'must use' for photos.

The gardens and water edge were beautiful in the cold weather, I can only imagine the good times that could be had in the summer. Seriously take a look at this venue and get outside.

But when it is too cold to stay outside for long then there's plenty of space inside and some grand rooms to use;

Especially the staircase.

So, what a day.; Bitterly cold weather but lots of warmth from the loving couple.

I posted the USB to Becky and Gary before the bank holiday weekend and Becky has already sent me a message to say how much she loved the images.

Thank you
